inferno GT body options
 

just got my gt running .I bought it used with the ferrari body ,IS there any other option for a body other than the protoform pf8-gt body?I checked a couple of sites even kyoshousa.com ,INfernosonly.com amainhobbies,ebay and few more and the only thing they have is for gt2

The Team C GT carcomes in a short chassis model-GT8 the same as a Kyosho GT1 and a long chassis model-GT8L the same wheelbase as a Kyosho GT2 both wheelbases have a couple body choices... Ofna just started to sell the TeamC GT8L long wheelbase car re branded as there GT-V2....I am not sure if they will have any TeamC GT8 or short body options for the short chassis version thru Ofna.....I wish Ofna would have picked the short version to rebrand.

Ofna still has the DP8 body (McLaren style) as well as a M-Type body (Mercedes style) they list them to fit the GTP2 or Original DM1 Spec which both cars had the shorter wheelsbase like the Kyo GT1......a link is at the botom of the post to amain.

The Serpent Cobra GT is also a short cars so any bodies listed for it should work as well....I think they use an Alpha body


We have a strong GT class on our area and we run mostly the short chassis so the LHS keeps the Team C short chassis short bodies stock as well as the PF8. They have an Amazon store and a website rcboyz.com I don't usually order from the website, but they should have them on there, if not email them and the will take care of you.


I know the DP8 and the M GTP fit the short chassis since I have seen guys running them at the track....not positive on the M sedan style but it is listed to fit the same cars.

You need to check you wheelbase. It is either 330 or 360 mm.

Most of the bodies are for 330 mm (GT1). 360 mm bodies (GT2) are available from Kyosho and for a while and TeamC/Ofna lately. Not to many different ones.

If you have the Ferrari body I'm pretty sure you have the short chassis. There are a good number of body options just make sure you are looking for GT1 sized bodies. A-main hobbies has a good selection of 8th scale on road bodies if you want to go from there. Absolute hobbies has them also with a few different ones than amain. IGThobbbies has them also again a good selection. those are the 3 sites I use but most of the time I get my bodies through my local hobby shop. There are certian bodies that are good for racing if thats what you plan to do we can make suggestions for you.

not really planning on racing i just get together with 2 friends that also have infernos and put some cones down and have fun So any body will do just as long as it doesn't look odd. just trying to get something that look realistic ,thats what caught my attention with the gt with the ferrari body i found out later that all the bodies i saw were for the GT2 and wouldn't fit my friends have audi and a corvette i am the only one with the GT
