I too would like to see both classes grow but the combine class thing has cost me a small fortune in broken parts over the last 2 years from being scooped in the corners and run off line entering or exiting the gt's are faster on the straights when right but braking points and corner speeds are different and there lies the rub even if lap times are the same most damage done in the combined class comes from the 2 style of cars rubbing

My only comment is that I'm glad you have a place to race and you enjoy what you are doing!

Default Ned out....

I got off the other thread to focus on working on a "Spec 1/8 Pan Car .21 no frillis Racing" and the same discussions followed over here!

I can only conclude there is no interest in this topic.

These pics are what I had in mind to discuss:

Hello everyone,
What about Rally Game cars? They have little maintenance costs, belt driven and rubber tires.

Ned...looks like you have a tiny pinion on that bell...How did you attach it to work with a modern bell???...I would like to get the 300 running again too but want to be able to run a smaller spur for ground clearance so tires can actually be used up...

I have something very similar. What I have is an old RC10L wide car with a TRC nitro conversion. It came with a metal lower pod plate, a clutchbell and pinion, a brake band, and an upper plate that allowed a throttle servo to be mounted to it. It looks like Ned has taken his a step further with a spring steel t-plate, what looks like a Composite Craft chassis plate, etc. I'll have to post some pics of mine (nowhere near as nice as Ned's). I ran across it in the basement the other day.

They are 32 pitch gears. I wish that we could find a decent header for the Picco .05 engine. As light as this car is, the .12 is a lot for it, at least for my (lack of) driving ability.
