Randy:

Just make your own pack. I can loan you one if you need as I have 3.

Just wanted to confirm if the track will be available for practice on Wednesday? Thanks

I was not aware that Halo Hobbies was so close to the track....good deal, I hope the store has a lot of hard to find and unique racing stuff and takes credit cards...there are only a few stores in our area geared towards racers.

To everyone coming to the Great Lakes race there is an excellent local chain store called Andersons at the west end of the mall that should have all your needs from tables and chairs to lumber or cement blocks to hold your tent down and even a deli department for sandwich fixins. There is also a food court at the back end of the mall for pizza and burgers.

To answer a couple of questions from earlier questions:

-In sedan the most common fuel is 30%, some use 25% I hear.

-40 and 42 shore is most common tire for sedans with some guys going harder in the front later in the weekend.

-I would think Anderson's has alcohol

-If anybody flying in needs something special post it here and I am sure one of us "Locals" has it or Josh can get it.

-This race is going to be really fun but due to the large number of entries practice will be somewhat limited to please don't plan on running tank after tank when you get on the track. The layout is the same as the Sedan Nationals so a lot of the sedan guys will be familiar with the layout which will help. I am sure with all the sponsored guys being in attendance it will be a great time to pick their brains too.

The track is available on Weds. afternoon around 2 PM when Halo opens up, they can open the gate to the track. ROAR memberships are required.
Traction will not be to bad, but we are planning to spray the track for the GLC on Weds. evening.

Andersons does care Alcohol and is 400 ft. from the track.

Started to enter Racer into Jlap for next weeks GLC and found that 1 in
4 racers had not included their PT's. This maybe a mistake, but if
anyone knows they did not include their PT# on the entry, please send
me an e-mail with your Name, class racing, PT# and confirm your
frequency.

We will not have enough time for everyone to give us their PT's on
Friday and Sat. morning will be to late.

address: [email protected]

Thanks for your help.

Josh, Thanks for letting us ship our stuff to Halo Hobbies, one question, can we schedule UPS to pick up our shipping to ship back home on Monday so they can pick up? And if so will the Store be open that we can bring them to the store after the race on Sunday. We have a early morning flight back from DTW on Mon morning.

EJRacer - We are closed on Monday. You can make arrangements to have things picked up on Tuesday between 2-9pm (normal week hours). If you want things to go out asap on Monday then you should be able to set it up at the hotel you are staying at.

Everyone remember your rain coats, it looks like the tradition may continue.
Sorry Ted, had to do it.
