Hey bro!
I haven't seen a drift cars in action,but I hope someday I can.
Its up to you if you like drift racing rather than grip racing.
Drift racing is not that big(for now)maybe later on it will.
Grip racing is big and it'll be there for a longest time and the drift I don't know.
U can try it out and see if you'll like it and try the grip racing, and then decide which kind of racing you want to stick with.
But for me I don't think ill be in drift racing,(this is just for me.)
But I think you'll have more fun on grip racing than drift...
You noticed that mostly racers outhere is in for gripracing, and it takes a little while somebody reply on your post.
Well anyways, goodluck on what you have decided to go for..

Default Drift Racing

Hey Apla,

Here's my two cents on drift racing.
I run Nitro (on-road grip racing, and off-road racing... and some monster truck bashing, and maybe soon MT racing).
I don't run electric, but still racing is racing and drifting is drifting, right?
Yesterday, I watched the drift racing video from the HPI site.
As soon as I saw it... I was out rushing to get one.
What I'm saying is, we're into R/C for the thrill, the excitement, and the fun, right?
So whatever gets you goin, go for it.
Maybe drifting is not (yet) popular, but so what? Who cares?
The fact is... it's a new challenge, and if you can learn it, it is AWESOME!
Go to the HPI site and watch it.
Believe you me, that guy driving it... whoever he is... is damn good!

I just bought the Stage D HPI drifting upgrade kit today... and I don't even have an RS4 to upgrade yet. Maybe I'll find a good one tomorrow.

Goodluck. Catch you on the high-side.

hey guys

Im a "fairly" experienced RC drifter myself. I have been drifting my pro 4 quite sucessfully. Its a great car to drift. I am using ABS pipe as tyres, they are premounted onto rims by my LHS. great tyres to drift on.

Its great to see other drifters out there

After you click on the pic/link you have a choice to watch it or click "download video" so you can save it on your computer.
Enjoy.
