What ever the person beating you is using

Lots of them are rippers with various strengths and weeknesses... and thats before you consider modified motors.

Might not be the answer you're looking for but you may need to narrow down what you want out of the motor and where you run it. Too many variables IMO.

A look through the Onroad Nitro Engine Zone (top of this thread) may provide some insight into the various motors being used by other racers.

Regards,

Simon

Depends entirely on how much you want to spend and how well you can handle it. SH makes a VERY nice motor for about 140 bucks online (Ebay) new with carb. Picco (Vox) is a good motor for a little more money, and NovaRossi can eat up the better part of a mortgage payment pretty quick. But there are tons of motors out there, everyone has a personal favorite...just remember whatever you get to take good care of it and it'll give you long life and performance.

Talking

If you want the Best than use Novarossi based Engines.
Max Power will bring out a new Engine that are similar to the KeepOn how I heared. And Max Powere is for me one of the fastest engines.

But After you see the prices , you surly will go to use something else.

No such thing as the best, they are all good these days, pick the one that fits your budget, and work on corner speed with chassis set up.

Having said that i would recommend a Nova Rossi based engine, they are the current world champions in onroad and offroad. KeepOn .21 and .12 for onroad and the BTTS for offroad.

Picco based engines are extremely fast as well, you will have to decide on what you want, and which one fits you.

The car its going in is a kyosho gt2 I've got all the hop ups and upgrades I can like servos ect.
Now its on to the motor!! Cuz I don't care what people say that stock .28 motor was pure junk! slow no bottom or top end and couldnt hold a tune to save its life!
Basically the track down here nobody ever uses an its nice size so i figure I'll rip it up on my days off.
I love how serpents and mugens run fast around the track but I cant stand the way they look with that dumb looking body just MY OPINION don't take offensive to it.
So I want my kyosho gt2 to zip around the track like that while still looking like a cool rc car!

I <3 MY IGT ahaha
