Default sirio .12 "legal" engine

I am starting to build up some disrespect for these sirio engines. . need some pychological help

1.8hp ?

*ARE YOU SURE*

all this numbers tell me they're more marketing people than honest businessman. . .

I saw a couple run at our Jurong Track and they seem not as quick as claimed . . again . . . 1.8hp . . . .

what are your experiences. . . ??

The Sirio used by the factory drivers are putting out around 1.8hp but keep in mind that these engines may only last for about 5mins for a qualifier.
The production engine will never see that type of HP without major mods. I would estimate they are producing around 1.35HP which would bring them into line with all the other legal 3-port standard engines.

Ummm, have one 'ROAR Legal' and is pretty fast. 1,8Hp is BS. Maybe 1,35Hp is more real number.

Compared to my JP 12, my Sirio is 0.02 sec slower on my track, maybe it not have those wicked sound at high rpms, but things go pretty fast. Well, my NTC3 with the JP sounds better, but is quite expensive to run on practice and local races, better I stick with the Sirio, JP is reserved for serious races where HP is needed.

I've disasembled it and for not being a 'ported engine' is pretty fast, for sure that some porting helps a lot, but for their price is very, very good.

Modified Sirio is slower than a JP MT-12? Wow! That's not good. Dennis Richey's RTUs were running right past JPs.

Mine Sirio isn't ported/modded or something else, completely box stock.

at our local track there are number of moters I have a gen two riche that was the fastest moter at the track it finaly blew up at our regional race 8.5 gallons later i was very happy I bought a gen 3 at cinci broke it in on serpant bench I have not run the moter yet but i have a mod pixxi and i just got a mod siro from pinapple moters the guy who mods the moters runs at our local track some times his siro mod is so fast every body wants one. my point his siro is very fast he showed me the piston and sleve and crank. it looks a lot like smeltz or riche mpters they all look simular. I think for 8.5 gallons of fuel through Amod moter is good so the extra money for a mod moter is worthit. just my thoughts.

can someone reconfirm even factory drivers are using the roar legal 1.8hp sirios ??? I have much doubt.

Even so . . . sirio does not have to market their normal production as 1.8hp (misleading ?? - as you can almost find this info everywhere . . not to mention the next model - turbo one having 2hp).

Please note that I said around. I would say 1.7 would be closer. Most works drivers get all engines handed to them free and these have been tested to prove that they rev probably around 3 times as fast as the production engine.

Sorry. I hit the 3 key instead of the 2 key. I was in a hurry to get my dinner. They will rev around twice as fast.
