FW-05 Knockoff Cheap!!
FW-05 Knock off
Of course, its made from cheap components. You get what you pay for. I would trash the radio and engine though but for $100 its still better than buying a FW05S and still having to get the rest of the components.
Does anyone know anything specific about these cars. Is it interchangeable with FW05 upgrades?

Okay guys its been very funny. Some of those lines were pretty good.
I hear you. I appreciate Kyosho quality as well. I have two V One Evos, an RR and various electrics. All great stuff.
But look at it from a hobbyist point of view. The only difference between winning and losing could be that extra effort in tuning ability and driving ability. Now I wouldn't consider this for a major event but how about the local club race where everyone bashes around for fun?
On the comment about it being like an RS4 3, I must disagree because it has ball suspension and on one those cars, they show the rear hub which looks very close to the one on my V One RR.
So the steering servo is too high - that can be changed to laydown position easily.
So the body posts are too high - cut them!
But if the basic suspension and drivetrain are the same then there is still some potential for this chassis to be a contender and at a great price!!
So does anyone know if Kyosho compatible upgrades are compatible with this knockoff??

Here is Another Knock off to look at.
Look closely, the front and rear bulkheads and suspension arms are almost identical to the Kyosho.
Can anyone comment on the worthiness of this item? Would it be compatible with other upgrades??

And another knockoff to look at.
This one even includes a radio that looks like the old Airtronics Rival from way back when.

Seen one first hand
We had a customer come in with this car and had no clue what else was needed to get this car running.
So about 150 bucks later he was up and running.
I took a close look at the car and the two speed tranny gears are too big cause there dipping below the chassis.STRRRIIIIPPPED . The top deck is all plastic super flex. But thats all i can see wrong with it, also the part support lol good luck ! ACME? Shees. The body was cut out horribly but the paint scheme was awsome!
The engine looks nice and the shocks look pretty good aswell.

knock off acme
why did the guy have to pay $150.00 to get it running, All I did was add a tank of fuel and away it went, you other observations were ok excet the part of something dragging , my chassie on the bottom is as smooth as a babys bottom and yes awsome paint job, good tires awsome shocks with ball ber\arings all over so this little gem is a winner in my book $250. and away you can go , only draw back i see is pull start but i'm working on some modes to fix that. conquestadore is awsome 1/10th scal truck. I even found some bodys that will match up to it!
