I would say if your going to spend $130 for a Triton you should really consider the Duratrax Ice charger. I think the only thing that is bad about this charger is having to look at the name duratrax on it. This by far is the best mid price charger on the market. It does every kind of battery even li-po as well as motor run and even discharges.

I'm a big fan of Futaba stuff. It's just way over priced for what it does. huskerfreak is right. Go with the ICE. The difference between the Trition and ICE is discharge rate is lower on ICE, but ICE will do motor run in and has a nice screen.

Does ICE charge 2 packs at the same time? Motor run in is not necessary for nitro.

I like the futaba because of its ability to charge 2 things at the same time. It even has a built-in receptacle to charge glow starter. I do wish it could charge the starter packs as well.

Im using this charger for about 2 years now and it works flawless !!! ... i dont even care about charge packs at home, just connect the charger on my 12v starter battery and charge the TX, RX and Glow while i put all my stuff in order on the work-tables of the track ... i use this same charger for my airplanes ...

cya !

You all have good points. I have a 12v gel cel in my starter and I was looking at using that to power the charger when I am away and can't take my trailer with me(vacation. That is why I'm not running electric anymore) But the Triton and the dura-ice looks like the top runners. Thank you all

I'm going to try a couple chargers. I got the ICE today and like the way it works and ease of use. I would have gotten the Futaba, but the LHS didn't have one in stock. I
