Hi guys,

Im on a truble here, i need to lubricate my ball bearings and thrust bearings of the Centax and i dont have access to special thrust bearing grease ...

Now, i have oil bearing for the ball bearings, and here in Chile i dont have access to buy "right now" special thrust bearing grease ... i visited a hardware store and the alternatives that the guy gave me after my "RC orientation explanation" are :

- Medium-Thick black grease for ball bearings (thats the name of the product, oriented to grease bike bearings).

- 3-in-1 thick oil lubricant for bearings (i found that you in USA have this product http://www.wd40.com/Brands/3in1.cfm)

So ... can use any of that products for my thrust bearing (and maybe for the all around ball bearings too cause im a little short of the kyosho lube i always use) ...

Thanks in advance ...

Pat

See if they have assembly lube? white (not the spray) If not real car wheel bearing grease will work .It's a little thick but it's high temp. There are many types you can use Just make sure you grease it offten and check the free play WD 40 is good stuff but way to thin for thrust bearings It's more of a oil then grease

If you have acces to Team Associated parts, you can use their black grease. They use this grease for the trust bearing on their ball diffs. I use this grease on the centax and never had problems.
