yeah, they had the front belt under and over the engine. seems to me that would mean they have to lift the engine higher in order to have clearance for the belt. for RCCA's project car they had trouble fitting in a non-pullstart .21 without a special chassis/flywheel conversion. i would imagine they finally figured out that a 3 belt design allows them to lower the CG of the engine .

its a very interesting design to say the least it seems that the tank is bolted directly to the chassis, can anyone verify this?

If thats the case and it looks to be the same tank as Team Associated use on their NTC3, then good luck to anyone wanting to run for a full 5 minutes

Its not directly bolted to the chassis but it IS mounted onto the chassis via a brace. I personally don't like the look of the design but I was at the race and I can tell you its no slouch. Acceleration and handling was so good that Andy jumped into first place the minute the race started. I think you'll see this car in the top three for this year.

The BRCA Nationals run over 8 races throughout the country and your best 6 rounds count towards the Championship. This is a true "national" race because of the different climate, track design and race format. You can't claim the you are the "national champ" by winning ONE race in this series!

There is a video there of the race too.
