Thanks for your help Giddyup,

It did give a sound as if it`s gonna start twice.

But after that, back at square 1 again.

The engine`s feeling warm. is that a sign that the glow starter`s working?

Thanks for your help.

I had one of those battery operated ignitors as a back-up, and found it needed an Energizer/Duracell type battery for it to give sufficient current to get the plug hot......if i tried a "standard" battery in it, it couldnt start the engine.

Thanks once again AndyT,

I`m using Energizer battery.

If the engine`s feeling warm from the outside, does that mean the glow starter`s working? is there a way i can check? because, nothing`s glowing at all.

Did you prime the fuel, try turning the throttle adjuster up more you will here the servo move and the carby will open a bit. It may be still flooded. When the glow plug is out put it in you glow starter it should glow red.

The glow plug doesn`t red up when i put it in the glow starter. it heats up, but doesn`t red up. Is that a sign that it isn`t working?
