If you want a decent car for you as your a beginner i'd diffinetely go a KYOSHO, BUT not the FW05T. There shit. There already built.

You want something that you can build yourself so that you know how to repair the car when there is a fault with it.

I'd choose from the following:

1.FW05S or FW05R
2.V-ONE S or V-ONE S II
3.NITRO NTC3

Out of those i would go probably the FW05S or the FW05R.

If depends on what you want. If you want a buggy well then you'll have to ask someone else!

Default why?

Can you explain the reason you chouse Kyosho ?

I’m interested to get a buggy and I’m a rookie too.
I’m looking to
1) Team Associated RC10GT
2) TRAXXAS nitro rustler 2.5
3) TRAXXAS Nitro Sport SE
4) TAMIYA RC GP RTR Nitro Thunder
5) KYOSHO Inferno MP-7.5 Sports RTR
Someone said me that some brands like Tamiya and Kyosho are low end in general with less adjustments and if I would like to involve more seriously at the future I should go to a brand that make mostly race category cars ….
Is that correct? He said that kyosho makes also some but he suggested to go to a more specialized maker.
I also want someone to explain me what’s the difference between the trucks and the buggy’s except the exterior cover.

Thanks

Dude, you should not be talking to that someone. Let's see, current 1/10 electric TC world champion--Tamiya TRF415. Current 1/10 nitro TC world champion--Kyosho V-One RRR. The most world 1/8 offroad championship won in the last five years--Kyosho Inferno.

The first rookie lesson is:

1} Goto your nearest club, have a look at what people use. See what wins

While i was searching throw the internet today i discovered this:

"Great Vigor Model Company - Here's an interesting footnote on R/C racing for the 80's. Great Vigor Model Company produced only one car; the Beagle 4WD buggy. What's interesting about the Beagle is that - with the exception of the lexan body - the entire chassis was a knock off of the Kyosho Optima. Right down to the last screw!

In fact, some hobby shops stocked Great Vigor replacement parts for their Kyosho customers because the parts were half the price or less. Even today, if you're buying a Kyosho car; check carefully, you may be purchasing a Great Vigor car with a Kyosho body on it!

It seems that Great Vigor is still operating and production R/C equipment but they lack a distribution network (at least a visible one anyhow) in North America."

What is your opinion about that article?

Someone suggested to me the model
GREAT VIGO V2 SERIES (V2002 i think)

What do you think about that?
Is it good?

What do you think about HPI RS4 3 Evo (Nitro)?
Is this good?

I have recently bought Kyosho FW05T - its fully sick and a good beginner car as already built - you can pull it apart later to learn the rest. If you build it yourself how will you know if its right in the first place???
Cheers

I got one for you RD Logic mongoose its cheap fast and you can get with a motor at a killer price. and as a kit around $260.00. the kit is not as hard to build just take your time and be patient.before you know it the car will be ready to drive and you will have plenty of fun with it.
