all the cars now adays are very good, but if you get one, i would suggest you get what your boyfriend has/gets. that way you guys can use each others parts. when you get a new car, its not just a $350 price tag your looking at. i always paid atleast $1,000 for a change of cars after you include your extra parts. down here in so fl it is much easier to run a mugen or serpent because you dont have to stock up because your track/lhs has the parts. i ran the kyosho, so i have about $800 dollars in spares because if i am out racing for a day, i am not going home because i dont have a spare part. the first time i ever raced my car, mugen mtx-3 prospec, i broke a part within 3 minutes. i had no spare, because i did not know any better, and had to go home. well, i made sure that never happened again.

As I know not everyone is running. Ron Atomic-Kyosho, Tommy Parfirio-Kyosho, Tod Bath-Kyosho, Cody (Texas Racer) as I know-Kyosho too. I just named some fast guys.

if we are talking about LHS, it is absolutly correct-Mugen provide the best support-wherever we go-everybody have Mugen parts-it is great thing. I hope MTX4 will be competitive to RRR, then it might be straight way for me back to Mugen.

Howdy yall,

I was about to get the Serpent 710 until I saw the MTX-4 being released just around the corner.

I do have some questions for you guys. What type of dampers come with this kit(aluminum or plastic)? How about the clutch system(they say it's 2 shoe type) but why doesn't it come with a centax clutch; or does it? I'm not familiar with the design of centax clutches but don't they only have one shoe disk? The pictures show the MTX-4 with a centax clutch.

Anyone know when a prospec version will be out?
