I was hoping that the R car would have the thicker rear shock tower and teflon brake pads but nope.

if you are refering to the clutch bell, they recommend that racers use the mugen red shoe with the aluminium JP clutch bell.

for the standard bell use yellow or grey, up to you.

Do you know why the red would be good with the jp bell?

Stick to one brand of fuel. ( Different fuel needs different setting ). I cannot suggest a fuel brand. 16% nitro is minimum, 25% is maximum for .12 engines. 20% nitro is nice.

Don't use cheap fuel. Cheap fuel = Low quality lubricants.

Heavy smokes or Very thin smokes doesn't accurately tell your engine's optimum power. Use a temp gun, and set the engine to operate around 212 F - 248 F ( 100 C - 120 C ). Listen to crispiness while accelerating. Don't forget to properly set the centax clutch's spring tension. Not too soft ( engine bogging effect ) and not too stiff ( high pitch sound before the clutch enganged ). I usually set the spring tension at 0.8mm - 1.0mm
Thanks for the tips

I'm just placed order for Sidewinder fuel which is %20 , I think my problem is about clutch as well , Im trying to set it up right now , too bad i dont have this centax clutch setup tool hm ;p Im trying to set it up as described in nitrokb mtx4 knowleadgebase

thanks !

I think what he said makes sense. The red is soft clutch, so it grips faster ( less friction to grip ) than grey or black. The alluminium clutch bell maybe weaken ( metal deformation ) under too much heat, eg. resulted from too much clutch's friction.

I'll stick with steel clutch bell, thank you very much.

My vote goes to the 3racing engine mount. Had the kawahara and the 3racing allows access to the backplate and seemed to hold the engine screws better.
