Default Weight

Hi all,
I just finished my new MTX4 WC version with the Ninja engine and exhaust. Only hopup is the front universals. The weight is 1790gr, including body shell and new tires (64.5/62), without fuel. I think that I need to lower it by 50gr more. 1740gr will become 1710gr after the tires wear.
What is the weight of yours and what parts you recommend to modify/replace?
Thanks

Use ti-screws and put off all not needed plastic parts.

A.I.- Hehe see the results after buying all them goodies? Now ya gotta spend even more $$ just to add weight. I would recommend using tape weights you can get at any automotive store. If the car is heavily underweight you'd be decorating it like a friggin Xmas tree to the point where if they fall off you'd be kicked off the track for dropping "road blocks".

Longer screws for holding up front & rear bulkheads & upper deck tower ( my idea ).

BTW, no one in here with MTX4 are going to FEMCA 2007 in Jakarta ?

What battery pack are you using? How much does that weigh?

If I had more practice, and a plane ticket to where that place is I'd be happy to race.

Im using a AAA hump pack. Im thinking on using the space thats left over to fill with weights. As the full size battery will only be 100g , vs 70g for the hump pack.

I also have lw digital servos which I dont think im going to get rid of , ti pillow balls , full ti screw kit , lw aluminum threaded balls , ti turnbuckles.

Im probably going to swap back to the stock threaded balls cause the ones I have dont have the 3.0mm hex on the other side to aid in tightening them up.

The rest im kinda stumped on what to remove. I really dont want to remove anything. But im looking into heavy weights that I can stick in a few places hopefully.

Yeah,,,,,, Wish to meet you in person here ..... ( just a small talk : ..... it's 20 hours flight nonstop from New York - Newark to Singapore - Changi ( assuming you are flying with Singapore Airlines Airbus A340-500 , see the pic, you are flying over north pole ). Add another 1 hour 40 minutes SQ flight from Singapore to Jakarta, and finally 1 hour taxi drive from Airport to hotel.

i also had thoughts as to what is a good weight to be at, so if 1790 is too heavy and 1650 is too light what is the sweet spot to be at?
