That's funny Roger. I wish my memory were that good. With 3 cars, 3 different engines, 3 knowledge bases and a 4th on the way - I just can't remember everything.

We had a really good turn out for this 2-day event:

.12 1/10th Sedan - 61
.12 1/10th Outlaw/Fuel Open - 14
.12 1/10th Stock Sedan (rubber tires) - 20

Weather was great, everything went smoothly (Thanks to Bobby and Brian Y) and the food at the banquet was delicious. Team Mugen provided some fantastic door prizes and one lucky person walked away with a brand new .12 Ninja combo.

Mike and Brian put on an impressive show. You just don't realize how fast someone can get around our track until you see it for yourself. Even at Mike's speed, I think his fastest lap time was something like 22.9 seconds (correct me if I'm wrong, I was kinda busy and didn't hear/see all your lap times). IMO, Mike and Brian should have swapped engines.

The balls get stuck / jammed. That's why it won't shift.

If you would like to try mine...... I've been using the same clutch shoes for 2 years since MTX3 era. I usually put dab of super glue into the holes, let it dry, give silicone oil, and you can screw it.

out of topic: Back to early newbies days, I didn't notice the car is actually already in 2nd gear mode. My advice, you need to tighten the springs all the way first, and then release the spring tension by 15 minutes increments until you hear the 2nd gear engage.

Come on down. The track is dialed and the surface is super clean. Use 37's or 40's. I'l see you monday.

Rainer: You got any pix of the track. 22.9 seconds for a 1/10th is a HUGE track. Tell Reynold, Brian, and the gang I said Aloha.

Roger ~ It's the same 150x80ft. track that we always run on. The layout was a little more technical than what we have been running lately.

The race was well done by bobby and his crew. They took really good care of us who are not from oahu with tent, table and chairs. I will be back next year with more Maui racers. Brian from Mugen was a character at the banquet . Mike and Brian represented Mugen very well.
