I usually do it without the electronics and the engine, but otherwise the entire car. It's important that you have the upper deck on it so the structure of the car is complete.
Also, let the car completely cool down to room temperature before you take it apart again.

I think Ishitani still has a very good chance of making it into the A Main during qualifying on Thursday. I think he will really push the car during the last two qualifying rounds. In the past two WinterNats, Darin was in the A Main.

If Art does not make it into the A Main, I think he has a good chance of taking the B Main. He won the first two FORGASS (http://www.forgass.com/) races at Fort Myers this season.

Andrew Duperrouzel is the current FORGASS points leader and has done very well at all the races at Fort Myers during the race season. In the last race there, he finished second behind Barry Baker. Prior to that, 2nd and 3rd.

Brian Thomas still has a good chance of making the B Main, but Robert Maestrey and Bobby Flack are right on top of him - plus he needs to make up 2-3 seconds to get past the Team Kyosho and Serpent guys in front of him - Ron Atomic and Rene Cornella. It's definitely going to be close.

I don't know anything about Jarred Scott... Sorry bro.

Just my 2 cents on the Mugen guys...

hey guys just wondered if u could help on a query...

all suspension length are equal, all tyres are same size.

so when i do a suspension tweak test (sharp tool under car and lift up...etc) on the back, the back left lifts up earlier, meaning i need to put more preload on the front right (hope this makes sence).

is it ok to have unequal spring preloads??

thanks

It's something people have been doing for a long time and why not?

It's not gonna hurt anything. The temp will soften the plastic just slightly (80C is well below the melting point of poly amid) and the parts will be able to settle in the position they are in after the car is assembled and release the tension they've got in the injection molding process.

Yes, that's how you un-tweak a car.Your preload will be different, but the weight distribution on each axle is equal which is what you want.

do what stefan says, if your still heading know where check your droop settings maybe one of your droop screws is screwed down lower then the other side - you can check this with a droop guage.
