guys, a question on setting my kits droop... if i want to set my droop to 2mm for the front and rear (ive read in the mtx4 database of rmdhawaii that those settings are a good place to start) how do set your droop, do you set your droop with the tires on or not???

and how do you set the front droop??? i dont see any grub screw to set the droop as what the rear arm has...

thanks in advance...

I am the guy that uses that droop setting. First I wanted to say that is not a normal droop setting for the car. It will give an increase in off power steering. Most are using 1 and 3 for the droop settings, but please test for yourself. Now to answer your question, the grub screw that sets the front droop is in the front sway bar mount.

Do you set your droop with the tires still on your kit???

found the grub screw that youre talking about... though my grub screw's end isnt touching anything... so i guess i should set it correctly...

No, you need to remove the tires. You should also disconnect your shocks and your sway bars when setting your droop. I ususally am too lazy to disconnect my front sway bar and have a method that works, but that is the way you should do it.

Scott, it was good to meet you at the Paris Race. Nice group to race with there in Vegas and the track really has a nice rhythm to it.

so i should put my kit on top of those droop blocks and use the ladder measuring tool when measuring the droop... isnt a setting of 1 and 3 would make the arms sag so low???

what effect does this make when driving the car???

and disconnecting the sway bar by loosening the button head screw thats facing the bumper, am i correct???
