Default Need Beginner SetUp

Guys,
I just got my MTX-4 and I need a beginner setup for this car like diff. oil weight, shock oil, droop, track width etc. Will be running it on a medium bite track. Since this is my first belt car I used to run NTC3, how tight the belts should be, does it have to be tight or loose. I do have a setup station.

Thanks

Hey man welcome to Mugen world. Best thing is just to set it up as per the setup sheet it comes with the thing is fast just like that. As far as belts go just set them as per the instruction manual.

and keep the belts lose and ya start stock and do little changes and see what they do for you you may want to try 400 or 450 oil in the shocks, dont go nuts on hopups just the wheel alloy hexes and maybe a rear blabe sway to start.youll like this car better than the ntc3

on a short track i like 2500 on a big one i like 30000 but try diff oils to see what you like guys run all diff oils from 20000 to 100000 but thats for a spool in the front oh and try to stay with the one way in the front in know beaking will be hard but you have to set the breaks lightly just to slow the car with out spining out a diff in the front will help this but it will be slower and the car wont turn as good

For the bride run and some other tanks, stick to the stock setup and look what needs to suit your track conditions and driving preferences. In stock setup the car is very forgiveable and easy to drive.

P.D: Welcome to the Mugen world, as someone told you.

Call Jim at www.rcnitronation.com. For Kawahara parts, it's better to call because he always has new stuff that isn't listed on his site.
