I have the kawahara one too but it doesnt look like it....

I also noticed the revised belt tensioner.

Anyone else have pics of the car without the body? Looks pretty much stock other than the sway and new belt tensioner

I think the one u have its the new one made for the x4, the one on Fukuda's car may be the one from x3 since it still fits on x4. And the reveresed belt tensioner plate is an super easy mod on the stock one (just flip it and use mushroom head screws), even tho Kawahara does specially make one.

Looks like they had trimmed off the top layer of the fins, wonder if its to help lower the weight or let the engine fun at higher temp.

My car is the newer version. Just the belt tension plate and fuel tank are different than old version.

Also have the mugen front and rear hollow shaft. No words released to public yet.

Uhm... Square has one hollow shaft and I'm quite satisfied with the craft quality and the materials. It originally was installed on my MTX3, almost 3 years ago and I installed on my 4 without a problem.

Great to know that Mugen is planning to do some hollow shafts rather than going to Ti and other exotic materials. How you get those parts if aren't released?

mugen pulled it out of no-where to be honest with you. Chris T had the field by the scruff of it's neck and was dominating. Fukuda could not keep up with Tosolini, and Chris had the measure on all of them. Peter Jovanovic (Australian driver finishing 3rd) is a dead set legend...and he drives a kyosho unfortunately.

regarding the ninja heatsink. this may of been changed to lower the CG as alot of people were traction rolling. some nova engines had a special 2 fin heatsink installed on the car.

end note to the event. kyosho dominated, and mugen chased all event ...oww yeah i'm a mugen driver as well, but i still have to give wraps to kyosho.
