The locknut is not the same, it is slightly smaller to clear the new clutch bell. The flywheel is also slightly smaller as well, the MTX3 flywheel will kind of work. The smaller flywheel gives you more clearance to slide the engine in. If you are using the vented thicker brake disc, you will need the new flywheel for clearence.

Swauger did a tremendous job... Changed tires, stripped 2nd gear and still managed to finish 1 lap behind the leaders and not to mention he needed to pit a bit earlier than everyone else. Mike still managed to do have the fastest lap (and consistant fast laps) and TQ.

Flywheel locknut is the locknut that hold the flywheel ( black metal tube ).

Centax Spring Locknut is the locknut that press the centax spring. From this part onwards the MTX4 original parts are required except thrust bearings & shims.

As I said, I have transfer some of MTX3 clutch system to MTX4 and they are okay.

I see, thanks scott.

BTW, I want to see who is going to win IFMAR 1/10 GP in Brisbane, Australia. I'm sure it will be great battle between MTX4 vs RRR vs 720 vs G4S

Who are going to represent MTX4 ?

From my country there are 5 drivers going there, 1 G4S and 4 RRR.

Thnx for the info. Another great reason no need for upgrades with this car.

Mike S, had a great run going, the top 5 were very close, now, we would like to see a setup posted on the Mugen site for the MTX-4.

Ahem... I suppose that you're referring to the bling bling parts. Mugen should put the front CVD's on the box but they insist on running dogbones in front.

Agree, the MTX4 is a great car, but some upgrades are fine just for making it more to your personal tastes or to put into race trim (fine but... not vital).

Been looking around, but can't seem to locate a parts listing with part numbers for everything needed to build a complete front diff. Can someone help me out?
