At the recently concluded femca 1/10 nitro touring, several mugen mtx4 were disqualified because of the fuel tank. this might be a major problem for mugen at the world championship.

How could this be a major problem at the WC?

Don't you think that they will check their tanks before the race and screw a displacer into the tank in case it's too big?

Usually at big races, everybody have their cars checked by the tech people several times before qualifying begins, to make sure that everything is compliant.

When I was at the Winternats in Florida, my tank was voluntarily checked 3 times during the practice week to avoid something like that.

Yes, my tank was too checked during the Winternats. Now going to the nats, I already have a displacer in the tank and extra line to make up the displaced amount. It it is too big, I can make the adjustment in fuel line. Strange how this can happen.

i hope it's not too heavy as the car is already "right" heavy. i use golf pins to balance the car's weight left and right (centered one front and one rear chassis bottom). and the car is heavy on the right side causing the steering more to the right than to the left.

That would be the 25T pulley which I don't think you got if you purchased one of the early kits. You need to buy a pulley set to get it.

Hi Guys, Can anyone tell me what is the lb/in rating for the Mugen Springs? Im going to try a different setup i downloaded the other day, but it requires grey springs, and i cant get a set in time. Im trying to match some springs that i have, to the greys that i dont have. Any rates on the others would be awesome too Looking for lb/in ratings

They are steel disc.

Yes, you can use metalic brake pads but I don't think it will fit ( I guess they are too thick so keep it original or buy the yellow pads ).

My turn to ask question : anyone have problem mounting the brake disc from mtx3 prospec into mtx4 ?

I have discover 2 problems : 1. the brake disc actually hit the bottom of the upper plate ( I had to dremel the plate to remove some material ). 2. The brake disc touch the carburator
