if it's pushing both on and off power, i suggest you soften the front end of the car or stiffen the rear. this can be done with tires, springs, diff oil, etc.

i'd start with tires. softer overall will make the car not slide through the turns that feels like a push. it may be your track condition being very slippery also.

make the front swaybar flat or don't use and/or stiffen the rear swaybar.

if you have stock rear diff setup which is 10k, go to like 30k or 50k. this will help the onpower steering.

take off the spacers on the rear uprights where the rear upper links connect.

the body... use a high steering characteristic body like a stratus 3.1 or the parma type m

hope this helps

most cars were checked at room temp because when the problem occured all mtx4 owners took their cars to the technical inspection and checked their tanks......so the question about the tank and fuel temperature is eliminated......

I think the filter installed in the tank is decomposable and this is causing the problem with fuel capacity.......

I also heard that at the 1/8 offroad WC the Mugen guys were matching fuel tanks because some tanks could be filled up to 133ml
Perfect problem explanation... LoL...
I haven't had thought about the fuel filter... can be..

Is it just me or is the one-way real difficult to take out of the car. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I removed the 4 center screws for diff access and then the 4 outer screws that hold the up arms and control the roll-center. What am I doing wrong?

By the way, this car is amazing. Every time I race it, I always leave real impressed.

It is difficult. You have to yank it out and twist it but it will come out. Not really an "easy access" design as they claim. By the way the V-One RRR is the same thing.

thanks for all the comments re pushing. I was wondering if this is a general problem with the car or just me and my setup. I have tried most of the things you all have said here but the car still pushes. The following is what i have done so far

1. change front diff oil to 450wt, 600wt in the rear
2. raise front roll center by .5mm
3. use 2.5mm rear sway bar
4. droop set to 0 in front and 4 in rear
5. caster set to 0.....no spacers in front of arm....all at rear
6. blue springs on front lowest hole, grey on rear at hole 4
7. using 37 shore front and rear
8. reduce rear spacer to 1mm instead of 2mm.

I will try it at a different track this weekend.

Try going light blue springs front and blue springs in the back. You said you had the 2.5mm bar, try making it more stiff. What diff oil you using? Try going softer oil upfront and harder oil back.
