Thanks in advance.
I got some of these blue spur gears in and they are off. The diamater is wrong. It has the same amount of teeth but some are bigger around and some are smaller around.

I bought 3 54tooth and they are larger then the stock ones.
The 59tooth are smaller then the stock ones.

Can't set the gear mesh!!!!!! This product sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem of your stripping spur gear is gear selection you choose is wrong. You need to go up / down by the same rate and increment for first and second gear. Ditto with pinion gear.

Pinion gear 21 - 27 = 6 teeth differences
Spur gear 53 - 59 = 6 teeth difference. Ditto with 52 - 58 = 6.
What about my pinion gear is 21 - 29 = 8 teeth difference
spur gear is 52 - 60 = 8 teeth differences? or
spur gear 53 - 60 = 7 teeth differences?

His gear combinations are 21/52 (2.47) first and 29/60 (2.06) second gear.
2.47 - 2.06 = .41 , this figure is incredibly small so when the tranny shifts into 2nd gear the engine's rpm will only drop very little. (I know Surikarn used to run .45 on his mrx3).

The stock mtx3 suggests to run 21/58 (1st) (2.76) and 27/52 (2nd) (1.92). So if we do a little math for those figures, they'll be 2.76 - 1.92 = .84 ; and there'll be more engine's rpm drop during the tranny shifting.
So its that ok if i run like that?

I suggest to use longer screws like 3x10 or 3x12mm at the bottom ( use tooth pick to measure the depth ).

I never had stripping gear problem since mtx3 era. Perhaps longer screws hold the engine mounting better than 3x8mm due to heat factor.

Secondly check your gear mesh especially on the 2nd gear ( remove 1st gear first and mesh it correctly ) and try to spin it.

Third check the bearings on the main shaft. Sometimes it could damage due to high rpm and stress.

Goodluck.

Let me check my MTX3 with 22/58 and 29/52 and hear the engine's rpm drop. This Friday is public holiday and I will test it alone.

Last weekend I have race with that gear setup. It was fine but I can't hardly hear the rpm and gear shifting due to race condition.

I was quite interested too about those little ninjas. Got pissed of waiting and had a great price for a pair of Sirios T3-E STI (Blueprinted ones). This weekend I'll break-in one of those little puppies and will see how perform.

I dont doubt the sirio's performance... What I do doubt is their durability....

Got some previous experience with the 'stock' T3-E and their perf was simply stellar. They needed very little work to stand-up with 'teorically higher breeded' engines like JP's and others. The Sti's looks much better (honest, just opened one of those and are really incredible).

Forget about the nightmare of the Evo2 cranks. Is a matter of the past and at least the Spanish distributor stands up with the product and exchanged them without questions.
