I'm using A ackerman, 0 mm droop in front, 400 wt shock oil with 1.3 x 1 piston,1 deg toe out, stock shock position up front. 5mm rear droop, shock position 1 hole higher,2 deg toe in, 30k diff oil. 5mm front ride height and 6 mm rear ride height.purple springs all around. i'd try front spool..........
reduce front droop (+2mm should be ok)
move some caster clips forward......

what side pully are you running ? if you are running 24t then give about 3mm splits between the front and back, it should give you little better turn ins.

You could try reducing the front droop, or adding some front caster, but I would try reducing the rear toe in first. Try going to 1.5 or less per side. If you start spinning out, then look elsewhere but it might give you just what you need. If you notice no changes, then at least you will pick up a little bit of straightaway speed.

If your side pulley is 24 tooth, then I would run a 2.5 or 2 MM split. I cut my tires to 63 MM rear and 61 MM front so they will last all day. In a real serious racing environment, I would run something like 62 MM rear and 60 or 59.5 MM front. Now I've read somewhere that if you run the 25 tooth pulley on the side, you don't have to run a split. If thats the case, then you could consider the roll-out distance and all that other stuff and just cut all four tires to 63 MM or whatever. Also, its my understanding that running a split helps with on-power stearing in the corners since the front tires are spinning faster than the rear tires at an angle.

How about rear tyre wear ? When people use 25t front side pulley what happen with 1:1 ratio if rear tyres wear faster than front's ?

running 25t will give you close to 1:1 ratio so you dont have to run splits for front and rear not to mention your tires will wear evenly.

to anyone out there:

I recently purchased an MTX-4 and I wanted opinions on the cars performance and quality, especially in relationship to the MTX-3 and Team Magic G4. Are there any quirks about the car which most owners have a problem with? If so, what are your solutions? Are there any option parts that are absolutely necessary to be competative?
