ANY SUGGESTIONS???
All I can say, the difference is not great. I have seen X3 vs X4 in the A main and the X3 had no trouble keeping up. I only made the change because the opportunity fell on me.

thanks alot, i didnt feel like making a $440 dollar investment if there werent some obvious changes and differences. i know it has a lower cg and the fuel tank move has made a difference when pitting. the overall design is easier to work on the car but that is all stuff that will save u time inbetween races in my opinion. maybe ill get one when i win the lottery, but until then i can get 2 more equally equiped x3s online. thanks (wo)man?

mtx4 drive like V1 RRR, very agile, stable and higher cornering speed compare to older mtx3.

Yesterday I race national series, my buddy drove mtx4 while I drove my old trusty mtx3. Surely mtx4 have higher cornering speed and love tight S turns than mtx3..... I couldn't keep up his driving until luck factor comes into play. I got B main second and he got third.

More like someone hit me where it hurts the center of the wheel broke.. .. oo well that's racing..
This was my First time racing nitro in 3 years.. my old car was NTC3. here's my impression of MTX4. my X4 was good but It could be better if I could find a better setup, I would like to get more turn in cause the car understeers alot.. any one have a set up for a fast flowing Euro types track ?
the Track best time yesterday was about a sec off the track best lap record ..
it's a bit slippery.. I ran 40 shores on practice day using the box setup.. had to tap the brakes on each turn in. so I changed the set up a bit..
I moved the rear upper camber links down. it helps abit.. but still pushed like a dumptruck. but then one the fast guys at the track notice that my rear shock had no movement cause I doubled the rear tower.. so .. I put a 2mm spacers on the top shock links so now the rear suspensions got movement like back when before I doubled up the rear tower.
made some changes from the box setup. changed from 2mm front droop to 0mm and from 5mm rear droop to 3mm. put 3mm rear toe in. put 0 deg toe in on the left and 1 deg toe on the left.. (cause it got more right sweeping corner).. 6mm rear ride height and 5 mm front ride height. tweak it with 1/2 fuel tank and I used 35 shore tires. Took it out and practiced on Race day. the car turns in a bit better but it still have an understeers and a little oversteers, on fast transitions corners..

Over all The MTX 4 is a good car, but I need to find the setup for it.

what ackerman are you using? you didn't say but from what the car is doing, i'm assuming you're using the "a". try using the "b" ackerman, it will give you a better turn in. also try going down a hole on the shock tower for the rear shocks.

Thanks for the Suggestion Jo.. I'll do that.. I'm using The A ackerman per the box set up. I'll swap it to the B and I'll move the shock position down, and I'll let you know the next time I'm running the car..
