Your right burrito. But according to Venom, the VXR battery pack allows you to lower fuel tank, which i believe gives an even more CG rather than the battery pack. I have already changed all my screws of the drivetrain to titanium ones. This will hopefully give it less rotating mass.

you can lower the tank by a easy 3 or 4 mm, i haven't done it yet, but i will before racing this weekend.

someone posted the weight of their car with skyline parts. it sounds heavy?? mine without bod is 1600grams (maybe less now as i have no Y lead or cap) and with a body 1720 minimum or 1750 max with heavy body and largish tyres.

Im still waiting to get my scale to weigh in mine. I already changed 98% of my screws to titanium ones. Which should give me about 30 grams less (according to other people here). I'll post some pics at the end of the week about the home mods i have done to make this a better tank.

I use, if not LiPo's, an LRP VTEC1400 pack. Perfect fit...

@GrandeGixxer: cheers, remember LRP is an electronics company?
I use a thin foam between the brass holder and the battery.

I use Skyline's pack as well and I have been able to charge the battery to 1320mAh which is pretty good. What I don't like is the connecting wire. It's too short. I had to install a longer one. I use direct connect on my car, not a switch, so the wire needs to come from the front of the battery out the side and into the receiver. The included wire is about 10-20mm too short.

Either than that, good battery.

yesterday my friend took my VXR 750mAh and fitted on,weight the car which totally stock,JP fx5 kyosho 2pieces pipe,mazda6 protoform body,speedmine 60mm tyres,Futaba 3pk electronics: 1660grams.

I think the bigger mAh lipo cell would do better. Now he is trying to balance the car by putting few copper weight at the chasis serial no..waiting result.
But does it affects the CG?I mean the weight of the lipo on the chasis reduced well, but hows the handling since the chasis down weight is less now?

Well here's my MTX-4. I've added the Monotuning brake bracket, engine brace, one-piece engine mount, rear swaybar holder, front swaybar holder and everything else thats up front. To me there's not that big of a difference in weight, but I will find out in two weeks. I was abit worried that the one-piece engine mount would not fit the OS-TZ but that was not the case.

Convert, who makes that front sway bar, is it the 3racing one? I have been looking for one with the cams on both sides.
