i'm disapointed that the front roll centres aren't adjustable.

the rear camber linkages with the carbon fibre brace as oposed to being attached to the rear baulk looks like a nice touch.

the easy remove diffs?? ehh ..never really needed to remove a diff in a mtx3 quickly. no big woop. centred tank low cg batts? just as long as the car has equal weigh left to right that's all i care about.

looks like a evolution more than a brand new design.

I don't see parts that can be used from the mtx-3, so i think it is a new

Default i Like it

I have to admit, the changes do look fairly interesting, most noticeably they didnt follow the G4, RRR and lay the throttle servo flat..no point to really.

I like that it seems the car seems a little more balanced. Ill agree with tommy on this one it does look like an evolution...ill wait for some reviews on testing before i fork out the big ones for it though

No need for re-engineering when the current design is still spot on. Fine tuning seems to be the way to go.

Looks like a mini-MRX4...chassis, batts, throttle servo position, front arm positions, belt tensioner, plastic bumper, etc. Notice the carbon fiber rear camber mount, fifth body post hole in the radio plate, new rear arms, rear brake linkage mount on top of servo horn, what...two antenna mounts??? Seems like you will no longer be able to remove the steering servo horn without removing the mid-pulley bracket or servo mount...just like MRX4.

What is: Rear Differential (Bevel Gear Type)?

I like the fact that the diffs are easily removable, doesnt seem like it will affect how strong is the car. Hopefully the gearing we are looking at is the 0.8 and that will be the one for the stock mtx as well as the pro-spec.

Now noticing the parts that were a tad bit weak on the MTX-3, the rear lower arms seems alot stronger than what they used to be. It was nice that they didn't lay down the servo, like Dimo said... No point in doing that. Probably since the space for the battery is much larger, we will be able to fit larger battery packs which was a big issue in races. [Costed a few races to Mugen, bet Mikey knows].

Probably will have to get 4mm shock towers or just use two of them because they look really thin.

Jamie, we've been talkin bout this for what feels like 4ever...I can't wait. If it handles remotely better to my MTX3 Prospec, I'll be very happy. And if it significantly out performs it...WOW!

Hit me Jamie. What are you doing this weekend? I'm prepping for GLC at Middlebury or Bridgeport. ???

Car looks very good; much like I figured it would. Looks like they made removing the front diff much easier (what about the rear diff?). Glad that they finally centered the fuel tank and now give us the opportunity to use higher capacity flat packs. It looks like the suspension arms and blocks/hubs are interchangeable with the MTX-3 (looks identical). What happened to the laydown throttle servo? Personally, I see one being added to my collection very soon.
