The large bumper doesn't absorb any impact energy. Use the smaller plastic bumper but leave the foam rubber extended out. The foam does a much better job of minimizing damage from an impact.

Thanks so much for teaching me a good lesson. I will change it next time I work on the car.

You are welcome and I am sorry that I didn't just explain that in the first place.

Thanks for feedback, I appreciate it and am really glad it helped.

I've got one of those beautiful XPack chassis on the way so there's be another short review on this too.

My car probably looks like every other MTX4 out there. The only upgrades on my car are a 4mm rear shock tower from "gonad", a Kawahara 2speed housing, a ti 2 speed shaft (mugen), aluminum wheel hexes,(mugen) front universals (mugen) and ti pillow balls (mugen). I would reccomend to everybody (especially spektrum users) to solder their battery packs together.

I could post some pics, but I think you will be disappointed. I have always thought the best looking car was the one standing highest on the podium.

That's so true!
Btw, do you know any (USA) online shop or distributer that stocks Kawahara products? And do you know when MS will make the universals for the X4? Thanks.

Hi Scott !

Did Mugen already released the ti 2 speed shaft ? Is it for the front and rear shaft as well ?

Thanks !

Nitrohouse and Ace both stock Kawahara. I would try them first. When talking about the universals, I assume you ar talking about the rears. I don't know exactly when but I was told they will be here very soon. Ti screw kits very soon as well.

Scott, are you coming over for the Revelations T4T race? I am going to see if I can finish a heat race this weekend, maybe even a main.... I got the JP broken in and man is it a rocket compared to the X12. I thought the X12 was pretty fast, this thing is scary. If you aren't coming out, have a good weekend.

We have a club race here so it looks like I am going to stay here. Have fun with that JP.

nitrohouse seems to be offline, and ace only has parts for x2/3.

Anyways, I attached a catalog from Kawahara about its coming x4 hopups/parts for whoever interested.

I just got onto nitrohouse website no problem. If you are looking for Kawahara hopups that are only MTX4, then I don't think any are in the USA yet. Some of the MTX3 hpups will fit such as the 1st and 2nd gear housings. Mugen will be bringing in these soon.

Ace has the parts for the -4. I got all my spares there. Go to Parts, Cars, Mugen, MTX-4. They have most in stock, if not, they will have Mugen send it directly. That is what they did with my wheel hexes. All the plastic parts they had in stock and that was 3 weeks ago!!! JR is a great guy to deal with.
