I orderED from skyline already (last friday), but they just mailed me yesterday said some item i ordered were "too popular" and it may take a while. I'm ok with the wait tho since there's no chance for me to run the car yet (too cold and i need to prepare for college finals AHHHH ), at least it shows how good the stuff is.

for those of you looking for wheel bearings for your car, www.avidrc.com has them.
10x15x4
6x13x5 (also for pulleys)
(both also fit mtx-3)
AVID only sells them for a buck a piece which is a killer deal!

Stock pinions, and stock spurs or run the 52/58 spurs. Will depend a little on what size tires you run also.

Here in Dallas, we have a group of nitro racers that are so concentrated on lightening their cars as much as possible, they forget to work on the driving skills. At most club races and bigger races here, I normally finish in front of many of them with my 1785g MTX-3 because I have concentrated more on driving ability and set-up. Now that I am mastering my own ability to drive my car, if shaving another 40g helps, that is cool. But, my approach is get a feel of the car and learn how to drive it well against the competition first, then if I can make an improvement here or there to benefit me on the track, I will make the "necessary" changes. Oh, some of these guys with the ultra-light cars, I beat them with my 1900g+ R40 (and listen to them about it) , so, where was their big 200+ weight advantage?
Completely agree. Driving skill is the number 1 option you need above all else. A light car has an advantage in acceleration, top speed, quicker response etc. but all of this is useless if you're driving the longest line on the track. A few options here and there nice and I agree are required in some cases but spend the cash on gears, tires, fuel and drive your track until you can drive the tightest line lap after lap.

Default Skyline VR12E - Overseas shipping?

Does anyone know a site that will ship to Asia that sells the Skyline pipes? I would like to try the 6mm Outlaw version. I hear the pipe is very good. I've tried Kawahara, Novarossi, and Mega and so far Mega has been the best but I'm willing to try something new and heard Skyline is definitely worth. Cheaper than Mega from what I can see.

This pipe is to fit a 5-port JP FX12.

Hey,

I just got into 1/10 touring and have purchased an MTX4 but have raced buggies.

This might sound like a stupid question but when i put the brakes on only the rear wheels lock up, there is no brake applied to the front. The front does recieve power though. Is this normal or have i done something wrong??

It is because mtx4 uses one way in front. If you're having a hard time , try using a diff in front but you need to buy the gears and oil to complete it.
