I say to win a race is 50% setup, 20% engine, 15% skills, 5% car choice, 10% luck.

then it also means money

I think all cars are the same. Thing can be adjusted one way or another with the same goal in mind. What makes them different is their own respective character which in a way suited different racers.

It good so see mugen bring up their new flagship... more competition > more fun to watch or race

yea...i do agree, basically all the cars r the same, and different ppl have diff taste & preference due to a lot of circumstances....

but looking to this rc thingy in comparison to F1... money , drivers , setups , equipments and reliability wise to finish the race is identical...imo...

anyway on the positive sides more choices leads to more healthy competitions...happy racing...

All cars are not the same. They have different handling charateristics because of different center of gravities, location of components, suspension geometry, materials, weight, ect. Yes you can tune tune tune and 2 different cars close but you won't get the same lap times from both of them. I buy a car for it's handling charateristics. I like smooth cars with large tuning sweet spots. For example Mugens and Kyosho's fit that description.

710's are just as quick with a narrow tuning window (slightly nervous feel).

Kyosho's RRR huge tuning window very predictable and consistant.

Mugens are a little different. Smaller setup window than kyosho, but once you get a good setup it works almost everywhere

I have owned all 3

I should start a RC car matchmaker Business. Feel out the survey and I will match you with the car best for You. Like a love connection with RC cars instead.

Seeing as how no one has even SEEN the car, much less seen how it performs, any answer could be totally wrong for you. That being said, If you're getting that Prospec REALLY cheap, jump on it because you could have some fun with it for a few months if it's your first car, then sell it. I personally have the 3 and am looking to upgrade the car. I'm waiting for the MTX4 to come out to see how it performs, then I will decide between the K-Car, Serpent and Mugen. I love the Mugen, but since I'm my own sponsor, I'll get what works the best. But I'm sure Mugen will put out a competitive chassis, they have the history of improving each car with a new release.

What doe's meeting me have anything to do with anything I talk the same way in person I'm a very open person.
Like I said earlier I'm only replying to earlier statements from you, nothing personal and no I'm not mad, you had question marks behind some of your sentences so I answered them.
Don't ask question on here if you don't want real answers.

Hey Robbie...I heard that Mugen had the MTX4 ready to run but decided to use the 3 instead.... J/K

Sometimes I think that's how half these stupid rumors start.

We've managed to dodge these last 2 hurricanes which we didn't last year so the weather's been great, hot, but great. but no man, my local track just closed down which sucks. THe owner had a huge problem with the management on the land and shut it down. The track was even damaged. So now he's looking for a new location at a City park, but it's tougher to get into those. So we'll see what happens. The only racing I have now is almost an hour away on a small parking lot track. It's nice and at least it's a permanent layout, but it's pretty small. Had to gear down on it. I went yesterday for the first time ever and wound up winning by 4 laps. A couple of their top guys were out but it's still Serpent country up there so it was fun to win. The Florida State Series won't start until September, so it's a little slow for me now. I'm itching to see more of the new car. Hopefully Mother Mugen will release some new info soon.
