But I can not go because it would not be worth running one qualifier and for whatever reason, my side belt is damaged and I don't have a replacement for it. So I'm just going to race it here. Till I have more spare parts. I can not wait to run the car this Saturday.

Oh ok, makes sense as the car just came out and not every shop has parts. im waiting for my spares as well .

asw7576 i have broken my shock tower ill try and get a pic to show how i temp repaired it till a new one arrives.

You can type and say all you want on a forum but its not the same as driving one. If you don't have an MTX4 yet to drive then I offer you a stop-gap meassure until you get one ... a video of the car driven on a track "in anger".

A friend (Andy) and I each drove ours. I'm an average "D" main driver here and the MTX4 makes me look good and fast. It might even make me a "C" driver in next year's UK Nationals series. The Serpent 710 makes me a "B" driver though still but that's a personal opinion and maybe its because I know the car better than I know my MTX4 because its new.

You know where to get the video ... enjoy!

Take a look at the pic above. The bottom shows what you need to build the front diff (minus T0207 seal).

The stock belt T0270 is fine if you are running the 24t pulley. Does anyone have an overdrive chart for the 23t pulley? I have broken a shock tower, right through the shock mounting holes. I bought the speedline 3mm tower. All in all, I love this car!

Hi GrandeGixxer !

Noticed you have a a JP FX-12 "Full Option". Out of curiosity, what does full option means ?

Thanks for sharing !

Happy Racing !

That means it has a ceramic bearing, hardcoated crank.

it's funny how my original shock tower broke at the same spot as yours
cool thing was at least it broke above the screw where the shock mounts so i was able to finish my race with the body dragging

hey chris, it looks like you need to add a little bit more camber to that tire the inside of the tire has a lot of rubber left (first pic) and the outside is almost to the plastic already (second pic)

I think those tires were on my car (for about 1 min) for an exibition that we did at Big Boys Toys the track was an old carpark and it has got to be the bumpiest surface that I have ever raced on I did try more camber but it didnt seem to work. or they could have been off my mates car (MTX-3) he gave me them after he finished his final (which was only 20 mins) and i dont think that i used them for more than 1 min because it started to rain and we went home. But yeah i can see what you mean. theres only a 1.5mm difference I think the tyre saver tricked you the out side came off and left the sticky part behind and makes it look like the rim. But yeah good spotting Jo .

Just got my MTX4 today! Is there any part I should pay extra attention to while building? Any tip or advice will be appreciated. THX.
