Yah taking it way to seriously if you ain't getting paid how can you take it seriously. I'm just as competitive as the next guy probably even more so since I played sports through college, then some minor league ball for me this is a way to relax and get away from my daily grind.

To the guys that are getting/building MTX-4's. I just wanted to let you know that promatch has their GP 1100 flat RX pack on sale for only $9.99. I ordered two of them and with shipping it was under $24. Not a real big deal, but I know many of you will need new batteries to go with your new cars.

Did anyone notice the front belt being slightly to long? I doublechecked everything twice and everything is built correct, it's still slightly loose even set it to the tightest position. It should be ok now, but I can't obviously get it any tighter now (car has not been ran yet, this will happen this afternoon).

Other then that, I'm very impressed by the MTX4!

I built my front end tonight and set the tensioner in the middle position. Good tension without being too tight and causing extra drag.

Glad yours is better...
I ran the car yesterday for the first time, the belt didn't skip or anything like this but it feels very loose. I do not think that Mugen planned it to be like that to be honest.
Car ran fantastic with the kit setup, good traction, good balance...

I do actually think the rear shocktower is flexible for a reason!

flexible = less likely to break

I do have a long background to break rear shocktowers on the R40, I did try using double rear shocktowers there (glued two regular ones together) and that didn't make it better.

Let's first see how long the stock one lasts before considering an upgrade...
But one thing kind of annoys me about the rear shocktower anyway, which is the body post position when using a PF Mazda 6.
