dont even bother with the inserts that come with the take offs unless they are the ones that come with the 32s they are still a bit on the soft side

if u have 27s all round with them soft inserts u would be chewing tyers like anything especially if u r just bashing round the streets

use inserts from eagle and venom

Thats interesting Brett, Ive always used the standard inserts and never had issue with them, but we race on a relatively low-grip surface. What are the Illawarra surfaces like?

Sounds like someone is importing direct, Most hobby shops want between 29-$34 for ellegi foam tyres but I buy them at the track for 16-$20 a pair.

in the illawarra Model Car Club (imcc) we have 3 onroad tracks
one being verry smooth asphalt the other being slighty rough and the other being concrete

in my pit box i have 27s 32s 34s 37s 40s with soft meduim and hard inserts and a few sets of each

so i play it buy feel

i use to just run eagle 34s with soft and meduim inserst to stop the where

i can see how the normal ones work for u but dont u find the tyers feels flat in a sertain manner like there is a gap between the yers and the insers it not like its against it

chriso ran the take offs with the standard inserts and eneded rippin the tyers of the rims from the gap i presume
