Chris, this is a direct quote from your site u sent me to
"The proper sequence for adjusting the mixture needles is hotly debated. When you start to fine-tune the engine, itís generally best to start with the high-speed needle, then set the low-speed. First, however, get your engine running, and keep it running before you worry about race tuning."
So i do believe it is an area of controversy.

how much resistance is there when you pullstart the engine?
Is it tight or does it turn over real easy?

There is no use buying another manifold, what are the chances of two being stuffed? and the one I sent was definately working fine exactly as is! Its your money! If the crap is coming out of the carby I suspect your problems run deeper than you may suspect.

your manifold has alot of dints

not to sure how they got there i got rid of some but, i want to purchase a hole new exhaust system and i was thinking i might as well get everything done

there is resistance when i turn the engine over
i checked my piston and sleeve
and they both look alrite... the only thing i noticed is that at the top of the piston there are some marks not in the center but in the around the top of the piston

u think thats bad?

Exclamation good news bad news

Good news, I still dont reckon you need another pipe!
Bad news , I reckon you need a new engine!
I understand what you're saying about the header but it doesnt change the fact that it was working perfectly on my car before I went Novarossi. Yes it is ugly though, but thats your call dude.
The fact that its spitting crap from the carby is a pretty sure sign that the pison and or liner has gone but look at the bright side, Its an opportunity to upgrade to an engine more worthy of the race circuit or at the very least a new piston and liner!

Also, on headers, Q_Power do one that really sits low see picture
it looks factory and gets the weight where it should be (down low) not a real good picture, but i couldnt be bothered taking another one at the moment Im buggered from racing .
let me know how you get on tommorow dude and good luck!

i checked my piston and liner and they are immaculate... no scratchs or signs of wear... the only signs of wear are at the top of the piston but my mate reckons that normal to have a couple of scratches up there

the car still has compression

ill take it to my hobby dude and see wat he says.

you really think i need a new engine?
and can you recommend one? that is pullstart

Collari do a sweet pull start that's only got slightly less power than their regular .12.

Anything from Novarossi is good and you can't forget O.S.

There's lots of brands, just do some huntin' on the interent.

You could get the GS15R rebuilt or even buy a new one (ha ha ha) !

Default leak

i found where the castor oil was coming from!

i was going to start my engine today and i felt some castor oil spraying onto my hand

i didnt no where it was coming from until i looked at the pullstarter and pulled the cord and found it squirting out when i primed the engine

Im going to disassemble the pullstarter and sus it out

Nitro engines.

1) Novarossi cx12ps2 (these rock) 1hp
2) os12cvr (a little cheaper than the novarossi) still claim 1hp

both engines will require new engine mounts (tamiya) and an fd49 kyosho flywheel.
