Does the cx12p engine a threaded shaft or SG shaft. . .

Im thinking of modifying my v1s2 gearing & would like to adopt higher gearing like a combinaiton of 47/43 on spur and 17/20 on pinion. like what Misterlister had done. however, im having difficulty of getting the same parts ( Mr. lister have used mtx2 clutch).

I think even i put racing engine on my v1s2 and not changing the gearing ( original 2 speed ha 43/40 spur and 17/20 pinion) it doesnt make sense. so i think i need to change the gearing to further increase the speed. . .

Any oppinion guyz????

Default Stinger size ver power band

I run a touring car (Kyosho v-one SII) with novarossi CX12P and Nova pipe. I just put on a silicon extender on my exhaust stinger (3/4" length) to deflect the oil away from my rear tire and body however found it provided better lower end acceleration, quite noticably.

Is this the fact I extended the stinger or maybe my engine tune was not correct and by changing the exhaust characteristics it has found more low end power.

Does stinder length change exhaust dynamics that much ?

To mr. Bad Inferno . . .
Maybe this can help...
All i can remember is by changing the length (distance of the pipe from the header ) can alter the performance of the engine. . . THis was a cut from an article a year ago. . .maybe this can help. . .

check your pm. . .

Its very easy to install. I think the only way to get the manual is to buy the 2-speed. Problem is second gear doesn't hold up real well with anything more the the stock engine. Someone had instructions on how to install a mugen two speed a page or two back. That looked interesting. What part of NJ are you in?
