Hi BrainTeased,
Yes it was the GS15R for $80. BUt I got a replacement for free under waranty. I think it was only $80 to me cause in the last 4 weeks I have spent about $1500 there. 2 V-One SIIs and some hop ups, a few sets of tyres, and a stock pile of fuel, plugs, and other consumables. I need to stock up as I live about 3 hours for the "L"HS.

LOL, I knew as soon as I posted the last someone would ask, Why I bought 2 kits.
WELL...
I bought one and ran it for a week and ran it into a pole, did a bit of damage. So I went down to the LHS and bought the bits I needed. Came home rebuilt it. My wife said, It will never be the same again and segested that I buy a new one, mind you this one was only a bit over a week old, and she will have the old one and I should have the new one. Works for me... . So I bought the new one, my wife got the new body and I had the new chasis and my old body. While running in the new one, we went down to the courts so my wife could have a go. And of cause I was driving it when it went bang. So we are now the owners of 2 and both now are in the run in stage.

Mind you when I blew up the engine, my said why not buy anaother full kit and we could have a whole heap of spares, but thankfully the LHS replaced the broken one.

I think I have created a RC junkie...

We bought some cones today (red and white NOT green ). to mark out a course so we can learn how to drive a bit better.

Dazza you got the women of everyones dreams haha!

Hey phillay check your PM!
and to make it rev harder turn the low-speed screw clockwise. but do this 1/8 of a turn so just 5mm of a turn at a time and drive the car for about 1 minute, so that the setting can settle in.
basically
Rich fuel mixture setting = turning the screw anti-clockwise
Lean fuel mixture setting = turning the screw clockwise
Rich=safe
Lean=hot engine and unsafe

I just bought a 2nd hand OS TR Engine (slide carb - 10J) and a kFactory engine mount.

The engine actually came with two shafts. I installed the shorter one and reused my old flywheel and clutch. I then placed the clutch bell and installed it in the V1S.

Had a few problems, maybe you guys can help me out

1. the pinion gears don't actually match the 2 speed spur gears. its a bit short
2. don't know what else i need to buy to get the thing running (i.e. servo horn and such, linkage)

I'd appreciate any help you guys can suggest. Thanks
Hey did you solve ya problem?

If it is just the car veering to one side, when driving in a straight line, you will have a trim adjustment near your steering controller, if it is veering right, move the trim towards the left...
This just adjusts the centering of the steering...

If you tell me what radio you have, and find a picture, i might be able to SHOW you on the picture where your trim adjustment is...
