If you can't get a drill bit try using a drive pin (like the ones that fit behind your pulleys)
Otherwise send me a gear and I'll modify it for you.

Have a look at this picture, it's clearer than the one on my website.

Don't worry about the engine having little compression, in some of my best motors I can push the piston straight through the sleeve, and although it feels like there's no comp, as the motor gets to operating temperature the comp increases.
if you reckon it's running rich, lean it off a bit and see what happens?

How's the air filter?
My 2 speed mod looks considerably different to what you have in that new pic I did it acording to the other pic on your site. I left the pin in and put another one in next to the little thing that pokes out with the other pin in it... if thats clear

Default Monster Trucks

Hi guys,

I know this is a VoneS thread but I was wondering if you could give me some advise on what 1/10 or 1/8 scale monster truck to buy. My mate recently bought a sportsmaxx and he got the 4wd conversion and 2 speed so it was the same as a T-maxx and that went well, but I want something that is better than his. Thanx for the help.

IMHO....... gs15r + 25% nitro = premature wear at any rate.
do the sleeve and piston and try 15%, the speed difference will be negligable.

sidewinder
wat he means is change athe piston/sleeve and use 15% from then on.
but anyway i use 25% and i dont notice too much wear.
i understand it's difficult to get other nitro %'s .
after u change the sleeve u'll have to break it in,so needle setting=richest possible without stalling.
then lean it out to 2turns.
