the wrong orientation will cause the piston to jam on downward stroke, that means there's only one way to fit it.
no c clips huh?ok,must've come from somewhere else.
Yeh i was thinking that it should only go in one way

The front is set via droop screws as well... just behind the front bumper

If you take it off you will see it... but you dont have to take the bumper off to set the droop as there is little holes to get there

yeah i see the screws, but don't u think that the links are made of soft plastics which can't really make too much difference?
i had some tweak on my car,and after much fiddling with the shocks(thank god for the adjustable shocks i have )
i was lucky to have 3mm droop , and it seems like the lower limit already.
can u guys get 2 mm?if yes, then it might be my springs.

It rains for ten mins then stops and just when the track isalmost dry enough to race it starts raining again.

Why does god hate me? All I want to do this weekend is test my car and hopefully try some new springs, and what does the Melbourne weather do? nothing but rain and hail. Now I have to wait until next weekend to play.

Hi,

Fine thanx.

Don't know.

I am going to TTP to race my car 2morrow and it doesn't matter if its raining bcause its under cover.I suggest u guys should go to an under cover car pack to. If its got a low ceiling the car sounds wick.

lee82gx,
I have been thinking about this for awhile and I can't figure it out. How is it possible to have too much grip on the frount end? shouldn't I be aiming to get as much grip as I can on all four tyres, therefor shouldn't I be aiming to match the extra grip I have on the frount end with more grip on the back end. more grip all around not less. Hope this makes sense.

I think generally you want to find a balance of front and rear traction and set it the way you want and they way you like it.

So are you saying better to have less grip but balanced then more grip but unbalanced. what I mean by balanced is between under and over steer.

well i disagree.
i had ur problem once(too much front grip , no rear) and i tried to cure it with harder front tyres.in the end i got an oversteering car in high speed and understeering car in low speed.
what u should do is fix the butt first, then fix the front.
do this by finding the proper rear tyre/spring/droop combination 1st.
then go on to the front and repeat(but might seem like ur front is ok)
remember,an understeering AND oversteering car goes in the right direction but on the WRONG LINE

what i mean is not the same on both ends but having just a balanced setup... like symetrical
