Default Hitec and Futaba Battery Connectors.

For my new radio I need to know whether the Hitec Battery connectors are the same as Futaba's or whether I will have to change them around.

If anyone knows it'll be a great help, or else i'll just hafta look in the instructions when I get it.

Unhappy help witha two speed clutch

Just got myself a two speed for my VoneS, had lots of trouble fitting but eventually got it in with much help from the guys at the LHS. They are ledgends one and all. Now my problem appears to be with the clutch, I can start the engine and idel ok but as soon as I attempt to drive the clutch engages fully and will not disengage. The clutch is now locked and will not disengage at all even after stoping the engine. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Are two speeds normally this hard to deal with? Or am I just jinxed.

Thanks Dishy

I experienced a similar problem with what seemed to me to be the clutch locking. But true to my style I didn't leave enough time for the Loctite on the pinion gears to dry and as a result they moved and it just wouldn't disengage.

Have you Loctited them and if not then I'd say that's your problem.

Also, what clutch are you using? Most people here with 2-speeds have the V-One R (UM210) clutch.

Hi guys, while waiting for my V1S to arrive,i just want to check whether the V1S can accept SG shafted engines or not?
i might have asked this question b4(bless me) but i dont remember anymore.
if it cant accept SG engines,is there a way, using GPM,K-factory or Kyosho parts to do it?
also, what hop-ups are really necessary for me to race the big boys on a tight, technical track?thanks for the replies!

a couple of friends have SG shaft engines in their v-one s and to fit it they had to modify the chassis a bit to fit the mugen centax clutch onto it. it is possible but a real PAIN to get it in. dont go down that road unless you have a supply of asprins ready, just stick with the normal threaded shaft.
