Default 2-speed

no it wont fit...the gears are a different width, the layshaft is totally different etc etc. Thats not to say that it couldnt be done but it would take some screwing around and I doubt the benefits would be worth it.

Default ozone

1) Assuming the engine has decent power output...ditch the stock pipe.
2) Depends on the pipe and the characteristics (topend pipe, lowend pipe etc) but it is probably better than the stock one.
3) The v-ones arent like shaft drives that have very little resistance, there is always a little but it will increase as bearings get rough. Also make sure there is no debris in the pulleys and belts.

Mine seems to like catch once or twice before the wheels have done one full circle, this has been since stock and there is some resistance, so dont worry when it doesnt roll freely

The car should roll freely with no catching at all.

Things which jam it up:

1. Poor/dirty bearings.
2. Stuff stuck in the teeth of pulleys or damaged belts.
3. The brake holder catching on the brake plates. (If you did not trim it properly)
4. Dogbones catching on the outdrives if you did not build the suspension properly. (ie. too wide)

ozone, what he means is it should roll, but not like a matchbox car
i think he was mainlyreferring to my catching thing

a belt car does have friction in the drive, mine wont roll with out me pushing it the hole way.

And the bearings are fine, and its not because of the catching thing, its because of friction in all belt drive cars

and what has to be trimmed amg racer?

Default v-one s

betcha if ya check all your pulleys and belts you'll find one or two tiny rocks or something embedded in them......trust me.
the pulleys are prety soft plastic and they do actually embed themselves deep in the plastic, they can usually be extracted with a hobby knife.

gt

ps..i'd NEARLY bet a 2-speed on it.

Well it has done it since it is new,

But yeah we can bet ya 2 speed.

Shakes.

but what was amg talking about to do with trimming the brake holder?

cause the little 2 prong piece which holds the disk hits the pads when i hit the brakes as well, it just clips them, i actually thought that was wat the click was
