Well the meca was a success! great turn out, good competition and who won pullstart?......ME!

yes, thats right, i won with a v-one s, and an os12cvrx and paris pipe. Day started great, i qualified 4th in the A's, when the race started, rain just started sprinkling and the track got really slippery! all went well for me, i controlled my power, chose the best lines and just waited patiently for the track to dry, then full throttle to the finish line!

ive got some footage of my car in action, i'll edit them and post up some links soon. i'll also get some pics up of my car too.

Thanks -

MECA is a 4 round a year race which is held at different RC tracks.

The first was at Easern Creek (Rooty Hill) - SORMCC

The second at Canberra - ACTRCC

The third is at Mingara (north coast) - club name?

The last is back at Eastern creek

Each round has electric and nitro;

Electric - Stock
Mod
1/12

Nitro - Pull start
Non pullstart

3 qualifiers then a final.

tropheys are handed out for each round then end of series winner will get a championship trophey.

good fun racing.

A lot like our VORTEC comp. I suppose the only difference is that for the first three rounds we race as a club (clubs vs. clubs) and then for the final round it's individual. We also have more classes.

I'll be competing in my first one next month up in Bendigo .

Mingara is the club name, Its at Tumbi Umbi near The Entrance on the Central Coast. About 1 hour north of Hornsby. A fast track with a long straight and good traction!

I zip tied them in.

The metal 'spring' bit didnt make proper contact with the terminal. A DESIGN flaw in dick smiths product.

Default I will have a new chasis soon

Soon, I will have a NEW V-one-S chasis.
I may decide to keep it, but it's still an offer. It depends on how much you will pay and if I want to get a new one.
How much would you pay?.
