Its run in...but im not gonna go out and cane its ass either!
Just a nice easy day out to get familiar with the car, new servo and new set-up. I'm still not sure what the club is gonna do in regards to tyres as all classes except 235mm run rubbers!
But we'll see I guess. Will have a better idea in about 3 weeks after the next Mingara meet I go to as You can open up the throttle somewhat more than the local club.

i suppose you could use them but you'd be better off with proper turnbuckles....the v-1-s ones are just screws

re weekend.

The car performed heaps better than the driver!
Goes pretty well however it was tuned rich still and the 2-speed was being a pig (my fault) heaps of potential though, even with its rich tuning the Zac engine ran like a dream even when caught up on the grid for an extended period with no bogging down. My concentration wasnt real good though and that slowed me down a fair bit.
Had to laugh though...a mate at the track turned up with a 1.5hp
jp black in the same car!....it goes!.....real fast.

Dont know how I placed, was more into the car than the racing so to speak, my primary aim was to get a feel for the car first and foremost. In saying that there were only 4 in the class on the day and I would be suprised if I finished better than 3rd, but as I said that wasn't the objective for the day.

ps; where u based at Tagi?

pps; Ive got definate pricing coming through on the floating mounts for the v's.

yeah OK......the pricing I said was just ballpark figures...but I reckon thats a bargain. Actually I emailed Stuart today to get pricing as there are about 6 guys at our track who I reckon will take them.
