I disagree, the biggest handicap anyone can have is a too powerful engine, Remember you can live with an engine that has a little less power than you like but put a donk in you cant control and you havent got a hope in hell of keeping your car on the track. V-one-s' dominated my old club to the point where in one season they got. Funny that they invented the nitro 15 class to stop the domination, so half of us bought 12's and still kicked thier arse.

Junior Nitro 1st
Nitro novice 1st and 2nd (1st with force 12)
Nitro A 1st (with force 12)
Nitro 15 1st, 2nd,3rd
Super12 3rd (against mugens and it had a gs15)

Phildee, the point I was making earlier about the power is that with an engine like the force 12 you can absolutely wring its neck without wringing the cars neck and it is superbly driveable even under full power.

Default Vortec rules

Man I like this Vortec system, it is so logical, you start with a stock car and work your way up to a level that your happy with.

Only personal observation is I would have liked to have seen the inclusion of lola bodies and foams in the quicker classes (I dont understand, it has a size for foams but doesnt specify any class that can run them!), but if rubber makes it more affordable and more accessable then its good for the sport which is good for everyone.
I guess im just a bit slack cause I spent so much time trying to get perfect my cars handling on rubbers and the first time I tried foams it was on rails! I was sold!
Anyway good on you Victorians you have certainly got your shit together and have set an example from which everyone else can learn.

Nitro Tourer and Pro Touring run foams and I think you can use rubber tyres in all classes if you want. And I agree that there should be a class or two with Lola bodies.... because damn I want one !

how much were the Ellegi Foam Tyres?
Did they come with the rims?

Also as for the floating rear mount:

vz-o83-plastic parts
vz-088-metal tube

Why do i need that metal tube for?
Where does that go?

I havent raced there yet, went last week to check it out, I need more practice before putting it on the track.
1 guy seemed to dominate electric and nitro, an ntc3 with a 1.5hp engine in the nitro tourer and he could drive the thing perfectly.
