The UM210 is made of "vespel" material it has a lower co-efficient of friction than standard and therefore allows the clutch to engage at a later point. This gives the car a quicker and more agressive take off.

Post Sausage:

Once u get to idling for about 5 - 10 seconds u r set.

rev the car up to clear the crank then put the car down just as it is settling.

accel full throttle away, is it bogging and spitting out the exhaust?
If yes, lean low end off a little bit.
Try it again, if yes again keep going, but if there is barely any smoke richen low end.
Try again.

Once u have it accelerating, get to around full revs and go to no throttle, if it seems to hold its revs u r too lean on low end.

and also try cheking the exhaust is pushed all the way in.
And what mods had u done to the exhaust, as this may of killed it.

And then tune high end so that it doesnt bog half way up the rev range, sometimes need low-end ever so slightly rich so off the mark is not to crisp but still quick. And get it to just have a little
bit of smoke.

Keep trying mate
Also chek for any air leaks.

Squizz: I think he means 2 turns out for when he said bottom end stock. but when he does this, he also needs to do it for top end as well, and open idle up.

Weather....temp and humidity!!!!
The low end (on the gs15r) is usually measured by the distance the screw sits out from the shaft of thr carb not by turns this typically flush>0.5mm out.

Default Engine timing.

Does anyone know how these little engines know when to fire on the plug, or is it when they reach a certain compression?
Because the bigger 2 stroke spark plug engines have magnetos to determine when they spark.
But these glow engines have no magnetos.
So do they just fire when they reach a certain compression and thats why when adding shims u advance the timing?

There are little men in the engine that control it

Really its the compression

Bugger, that means if i get a higher compression, i will fire earlier, meaning i could damage the engine, unlike with those sparky engines, u heighten the compression, u heighten the power output.

I know if i heighten the compression in these engines they will get more power, but i also risk pre detonation if i do this.

Bugger.

Thanks squizz

Didnt u say u did some stuff to the baffler and everything.

Maybe this has buggered it all up and is not making enough air and fuel stay in there.

yeh i changed that but it worked fine b4 that, ill take it out again and see if it works again but it made the car have a shitload more torque
and it ran fine when that happened

also why dont u just get a colder plug if u increase the compression

u could also adjust the squash band (i think thats its name)

that is how far the glowplug sits in the chamber

so just get another gasket. ive done it b4

Be cause if i heighten the compression, then move the plug away further, i've just reduced that compression and gone back to the way it was, except it takes more heat to get it going.

And a colder plug is for different temperatures i've been told, not different compressions.

Giving those little mens Gatorade will increase power output!

The novarossi CX12P has 1HP and max 35000RPM
While the OS 12TR has 1.1HP and 36000RPM max output.

But then using the 12TR, you have to buy all that different parts and then a starter box. Up to if you lazy carrying around a starter box.

That power output of 1.1 hp though could be in some god for saken place like at the very tops of your rev range, so u never get to use that HP, u just get revs and then a massive burst right at the very top that nearly throws your piston through the head.
