Unless its right after they spray the track, you want 35 shore fronts and anything from 37-42 shore rears. Just depends on how you like the car to respond, and if its a qualifying run or a main event.

The first few hours after they spray the track you will need harder fronts and more importantly you will need to true them small to keep from traction rolling.

I always use the carbon rims and have run Matrix only going into my 3rd consecutive year with them and my NT1

Hello low et, the carbons are the best selling do to the lightness over regular rims and the firmness of the carbon rim. Yes carbons in general have better traction, but it really depends on you the way you like your car to feel and the way they prep the tracks you race on.

Hope this helps
Billy

Has anyone here tested the new Xtreme wheels?

If so, do you also have the problem that they are rubbing on the fron upright due to there incresed width and different offset?

On the Shepherd V8 they won't clear the upright even when I use all the spacers on the axle to get it out as much as possible.

Btw, I got the Xtreme Carbon.

The new xtreme wheels have been fixed with the offset changed to correct that problem we will have the new front tires in the next couple weeks.

I would first like to thank Doug Filo and Christian from MATRIX Tires for all their help and support. The Matrix Tires are sweeping the US market and doing well.

The KO race was a mini National brewing with most of the best drivers in the USA at this event.

I would like to Congratulate Mike Swauger for his TQ and awesome WIN in 1/8th scale. Mike had flamed out in the A main Sedan that cost him the win, but thatís racing, so again congratulate to Mike.

Congrats to Billy Bowerman for his 2nd place finish in the A main Sedan and Mike Swauger 4th place finish.

The Nationals in L.A. is going to be awesome so all you Matrix drivers get your plane tickets because itís going to be a great event.

I would again like to congratulate and thanks to all the MATRIX drivers for coming to the KO race; you guys showed that the MATRIX tires have proven to be one of the best racing tires on the market today and getting stronger.

We had 5 drivers in the A main in 1/8 scale and Congratz to them, it was a tough field to make the A main (Mike Swauger, D.J. Apolaro, Jason Conely, Billy Bowerman and Brandon Cho)

We also had 4 MATRIX drivers in the A main Sedan and Congratz to them for making the A main. (Mike Swauger, D.J. Apolaro, Billy Bowerman and Scotty Barnes)

Thank you Billy Bowerman
Team Matrix

Just got one set Xtreme Carbon rim in my hand. And I'm also looking for more... The Xtreme rim is actually wider than Enneti tyres for 2mm.
Beacause the side of front tyres is touching the steerblock,so I have to order some shims to add.some offsets to make the front tyres not to touch the steering block.
So now I still didn'tnt try it yet. Could somebody tell how does it feels?
Thanks
Victor

Hey victor those front tires must be the first batch of xtreme wheels the offset has been changed to fix the rubbing problem so if you order new tires from us you will get the new offset on the front tires.

What's the feedback with the new multi-shore front touring tires?

35/42 Shore - code: MX-10A35/42KC

I assume they are 35 shore on the inside, and 42 shore on the outside? Are they a 50/50 split?
