HI.
I am looking for a front - spool for my mtx3.
Can anybody help me?
Where can i get one.

mugen makes a peice that goes inside the diff to lock it. i dont no the part number, but i rather spend a little money on a part than to mess up or trying to make something.

The reason people lock up the one way is to reduce the rotating mass. The one way unit is much lighter then the stick diff casing with the locking lug inside.

thats why i put a little bit of jb weld on the oneway bearing and it works great!

This is how I made my one-ways into spools. I think I posted this up last year on the V-ONE R and/or MTX thread, but it's probably buried some where.

I ran it for about 2 seasons with no problems. But just to warn you, you may go through more universals if you have boards at your track. There's no give with a spool, but you sure can lay it down.
