Some other items like different springs, shock oil, etc.

If still got money, which I think you do , get a car setup kit. And some proper tools.

There is nothing wrong with your current car. If it aint' broke, don't fix it. The NTC3 is still doing well in races all across America. The car is not bad. You just need to understand it better and improve on your driving.
Besides, you have already invested so much in it, like tools etc.

Just my opinion.
Maybe I've said too much.
I'm outta here... !!!
I second that. At this stage, the money is best spent on FUEL and TIRES for PRACTISE. The NTC3 is good enough, the newer cars MIGHT be better, but if you think that getting the newer cars may improve your driving skills, I'll call that bull...

Okay, you've got the bucks...
Anyway, if your intention is to try another car, I would suggest the 710 over the FW. Why? You already have a shaft-driven, try belties!

Yup, I second that. At the end of the day, its the fingers that matters! NTC3 is still a relatively competitive car, but if you wanna get another car, as I have said before try it out. I am sure there will be a few fellas who are willing to let you drive theirs for a couple of laps and you then can make a decision

And didn't even "show up" at the Worlds A-Main.

If you have the Ray Wood DVD, you'll hear in the interview with Spashett who basically said the shaft driven car was not as fast as the belt driven one and that there are more possibilities for tuning the chassis with a belt driven car.

Maybe the track was on the large side but the other shaft driven cars also did not make it to the A-Main.

Any car can be the fastest at a particular track, shaft or belt driven ... speed is not dependent on the brand or the model, it is dependent on many other factors.

are you buying the car just 'cause you're bored?.....and want a new challenge?.....or are you gonna race both cars together?...if you're gonna race,I'd get the shaft drive K....at least both cars will have the same traits......

if you want to experiment,AND have a fast car, with hopes of selling the tc3,I'd get the 710.....theres a good base of guys to help you on this forum....and I've seen the 710 run..its FAST!!!

Thats is not 100% a valid point ... usually at international races you can see the best pilots and kit cars under OFFICIAL SPONSORING, so is not necessary that those cars are the best ...

For example, usually in spain you see almost one brand ... SERPENT and that cause other alternatives on the markes have higher prices and/or less parts support ... or in Venezuela (i worked there) ... right now the more powerful car on all races its serpent, have a great parts support and have sponsored drivers, but 3-4 years ago there was only Mugens there and all people were runing to buy and buy and buy mugens ... once the brand support got low-profile, all people started to switch brands ...

So Tabushi, having said that, have you made up your choice of which car to go for yet?
