Does anyone know of where rc drags are around central georgia?
Also how fast should a .16 on a stadium truck run?

yeah their is 2 dragsters made by Megatech They are gas but I cant remember the names and they are kind of expensive or you could do like me and make one out of something else. if you give me your email I will send you links to those cars and show you a pic of my stadium truck/drag truck

We will be drag racing this weekend about 45 minutes south of Atlanta. Then again in March.

WARDO 02-25-2005 04:44 AM

There is someone in San Antonio Tx. Litespeed enginering.com.I think. One of the nicest dragters in the country

myclod 02-25-2005 06:07 AM

the megatech is a pile of crap, get a litespeed or a walbern, the nice thing about walbern is you can change the front end on it to turn it into a Rail, Funnycar or a pro stock without changing anything in the drivetrain

Check out this one by New Era:

New Era makes a nice LOOKING car but a Walbern or litespeed ready to race weighs just as much as a New era empty, i had one had $500 worth of motor in it and was getting beaten by stock OS.12 in a walbern, JUST because of weight when i swapped chassis it was like a whole new car

Also, new era can be a pain to deal with, every time i tried to get parts for their car they were out, it took me 6 months to get a 2-speed from them, i never had a problem with parts from walbern

We've had a very limited run of dragracing around here, but I found my Bolink Econo-Rail with a 11x5 motor and 12 cells to be faster in 152' than any nitro.I've read about the Litespeed stuff but never actually seen one.

Yeah electric has a edge BUT go to a national event and look at the times, gas guys are creeping up slowly

theRED5 02-28-2005 06:32 PM

Now tell him how much those drag races cost, Grinder.

HELLION 03-02-2005 04:53 AM
