Long day at the track. I've got a rent-a-ride being driven by long time friend and racer, Chuck Leinbach. His car is going pretty well and should do well in the Sportsman Class.

Bill Sydor has me by the normal 0.5 seconds for fast lap ....... Then he drove my car and matched his fast lap in his car. Not bad for a DM-1

Played with the new Sweep ROK tires and it is a good step in the right dirrection. So well see how qualifications and racing goes Sunday.

Then Bill and I start on our travels home, which for me is almost 2,000 miles.

Got to Love GT8 racing ..........

I'm in route home after having dinner with Charlie L. Before he headed back to DC and I'll be dropping Bill S. in Kansas City on my way back to Colorado.

Must thank John Lee and Tom for sponsoring and putting on a great race. Great door prizes / trophies / Swag. ..... Only place I know that the pit guy was given stuff ... best part of the weekend ...... LOL

When I talked to Leon about the trip, he said the track can be hard on cars .... learned that! He also said the local racers were quick, which he was right again. I hope to maybe give this track another shot .....

I had a great time, and the racers who missed it ....... YOUR LOSS ........

PS. ...... after driving in New York traffic, WHAT do you have to do to get noticed by the NYPD ?????
